About

Prior experience:

After graduating from Southern Connecticut State University in 2015, where I studied video production, I went on to work as a Production Assistant. As a production assistant my job responsibilities included:

- Aiding the crew by setting up equipment and helping build sets. I also took stills, collected release forms, set up crafty, went on runs, and assisted crewmembers with any tasks required. Networks included NBC, CBS, FOX, ABC, MTV, HGTV, FYI, TLC, the Travel Channel, the Food Network, FloSports, VH1, Oxygen, Investigation Discovery, AT&T Sports, HBO, and Netflix.

After working as a production assistant, I went on to work other crew roles (such as Grip, Assistant Camera, and producing roles) on independent projects.

More recently:

I recently produced my feature length film; Sky So Blue. Sky So Blue ( a documentary based on five families who lost so much on 9/11 and share their unique perspectives on America today) went on to tie Snoop Dogg’s for first place in the Seattle Film Festival, along with being accepted into other film festivals as well. I am currently in the process of trying to get the films distributed.

On my free time, I direct and produce a public access talk show called "The Mike Nice Show." (Most of the time we shoot in a studio at Citizens Television, where I set up the camera placement, and then work in the control room when the show is live.) Working on the show, we (the talk show host and I) have interviewed multiple sports personalities including Stephen A. Smith, Scott Burrell, and Mike Golic.

What I am looking to do:

I would like to keep working crew roles, whether as a Production Assistant or Grip, but I would also be open to doing a more management like role. (I feel I have done similar tasks related to management when I produced Sky So Blue and Why Mona Rae.) In the past I would have to travel to New York to work on television shows and other projects. I am glad that Jaigantic Studios is opening in CT and would love the chance to be employed there, whether temporary or full time.
