On Wednesday, October 13th, Jaigantic Studios hosted an informal "Heroes Hangout" at 10 Selden in Woodbridge, CT. Creators from The Heroes Challenge got to meet up with their teams, mingle with other creatives, and network. After a fun-filled evening of collaboration, bonds grew stronger, and projects took form. The night even ended with some dancing!
97 of the 158 people who initially answered the call for Production Assistants (at the October 6th event) participated in the challenge. The process produced 19 teams who will share their storytelling skills at The Heroes Challenge Showcase on Friday, November 12th, from 8 pm. We invite all participants to attend Jaigantic Studios for an exciting evening. This event will be posted to our Facebook page as well.

More than 40 people attended the first hangout - in fact one participant traveled from Warwick, Rhode Island, to partake in this opportunity to connect with others.
We at Jaigantic are so glad to see how the teams are taking charge and diving into their projects. Many of the participants are forming lasting friendships and networking with like-minded creatives. For example, within the first week, teams had already jumped into gear.

"I live in Rhode Island now, and for a while, I've been thinking, "Where are the talented people producing content?" and I come back to my home state of Connecticut, and there's talent everywhere. It's a great feeling, and I finally don't feel like I'm alone and lost."-Tyler Mailloux

"I've already made some really great friends that I know will last for the rest of my life, and it has been; how long, a week? It's incredible!"- Liam McNeece.
